Hello! First proper post on the new forum. Here’s a 45 min mix of obscure mainly Dutch and Belgian disco, soul, funk and boogie. All from cheeky 7"s. I’m no mixer, definitely more of a selector! Be warned - record nerd voiceover alert - this was a originally made as a guest mix for a friend’s radio show. Loads of quality slept-on funky business, the product of a few nights of insomnia crossed with Discogs/YT rabbit holes!

It’s basically a war crime posting this on a predominantly crate-diggy type forum, but this is a slapdash smooshing together of some mostly blindingly obvious but Friday appropriate party tracks to celebrate 25 years of a small shindig (born of the Big Beat era) my friends and I sporadically host, almost exclusively for ourselves. Me of 25 years ago would be impressed by the rudimentary beat-matching, but then he would also be impressed that it’s 90 minutes long but you don’t have to turn it over in the middle.
