I did Hoer for the second time at the end of May while in Berlin. This time I decided to keep it simple and play loads of house music which I dig.
It felt great to get in there straight off the plane (I landed 1 hour 25 mins before the start time - was tight!) and get stuck in. I LOVE mixing 2 tunes together and making something new from them. It’s really a joy.
My set was 100% improvised, I don’t use sync or rekordbox and I hadn’t heard 90% of the tunes before apart from checking they were good enough to play so it was really fresh feeling for me to play them and I think that came across in the vibes.

I recorded a show for Balamii, on the playback i realised i may have inadvertently stolen a mix from an early 90s DJ Krush live mix. Hopefully he doesn’t catch wind of this. That “poem” at the start was recorded for me by a friend, it’s a reading of the weird Amanda Holden TikTok, but in Doric.
